Pastor Alan Johnson
Pastor Alan Johnson grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He trusted in Christ as his Lord and Savior in childhood. While Alan was in college, God called him to the ministry, and after graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, he entered Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. After completing his theological training in 1991, he served as the assistant pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Clinton, South Carolina. In February 1995, he became the pastor of Old Peachtree Presbyterian Church. Alan and his wife Barbara are the parents of two children.
Assistant Pastor Mike Sloan
Assistant Pastor Mike Sloan grew up in a Christian family in Richmond, VA. He cannot remember a day when he did not know Jesus as his King and Savior. In college he began ministering to youth and during this time the Lord called him to vocational ministry. After graduating from Covenant College in 2001, Mike taught Bible at Faith Christian School in Anniston, Alabama, where his wife Emily taught 2nd grade. After a few years they moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to begin their formal training for the ministry at Covenant Theological Seminary. They finished in May 2008 and began their position at Old Peachtree Presbyterian Church that summer. Mike and Emily have four daughters.
